Each programme of study in the Centre involves students in creative production and in critical appraisal of media’s role in society. Students graduate from our degrees with practical skills as well as the capacity to understand changing industry dynamics.

We work in conjunction with our industry partner Kairos Communications Ltd who offer students the experience of learning media practice from experienced professionals.

At the Centre for Media Studies we believe students should emerge
from study with experience in both the critical inquiry of an informed
graduate and the creative practicalities of media production. Each
programme requires students to complete major production projects in
radio, television or interactive media production.
